AUSTIN, TX – Act Global is proud to announce that Jimmy Rogers has recently joined its team as the new Director of Strategic Sales. This follows the hiring of Philip Worob as Director of Sales earlier this year.

These appointments are part of the company’s growth plans and strategic vision to develop and market – in an innovative, entrepreneurial, and sustainable way – synthetic turf solutions to enhance the quality of life for every generation.

Jimmy Rogers is a 38-year textile industry veteran and a pioneer in inventing and developing instrumental products in the synthetic turf industry. He will focus on the company’s specialty sectors: Turfscape (landscaping), AvTurf (aviation) and LiteEarth (landfills). Prior to joining Act Global, Rogers worked in sales and product development. He will drive the development of custom, strategic turf solutions to fit the unique needs of the customers.

Philip Worob previously held sales leadership roles in several different industries, most recently at Dell Technologies. He has managed both inside and outside sales teams with annual quotas up to $1 billion with prestigious clients such as Wal-Mart, Boeing, JP Morgan Chase, as well as public entities and universities. Worob will lead the sales team for the company’s growing North American Sports sector.
