Act Global Sports Turf Systems
Built to Outperform.
Performance isn’t a claim we make — it’s an outcome we engineer. Every Act Global system is designed against natural grass benchmarks and independently tested to deliver consistent, verifiable results across every sport, every level, every climate.
Technical Data Sheets and independent lab results are available for every system in our portfolio. Contact us with your project specifications.

Our Engineering Philosophy
Technical expertise drives every decision.
At Act Global, performance and safety are not separate goals, they are two outputs of the same engineering process. We start with what the best natural grass fields actually deliver to players: traction, cushion, stability, and consistency. Then we engineer synthetic systems that match or exceed those benchmarks.
“We exist to drive player safety and player performance. Everything we do starts and ends with player research — through manufacturing, construction, maintenance, and back into the next round of product testing.”

Fiber Engineering
Performance starts with the yarn.
Every Act Global system uses a purpose-engineered combination of fiber types, each selected to contribute a specific performance property. The fiber is not a commodity input. It is the primary performance variable.
Monofilament
Diamond & Wing Diamond
High-tenacity polyethylene monofilament fibers engineered for resilience and upright recovery. The diamond and wing diamond cross-section geometries distribute load laterally, reducing fiber lean and maintaining consistent traction across high-use areas.
300/360 micron — 11,500 denier
Slit Film
FB Global
110 micron slit film fiber adds lateral stability and infill retention. When combined with monofilament in DXF and DXFT blends, it creates a denser, more uniform surface that reduces infill migration and maintains system performance under repeated use.
110 micron — 5,000–10,000 denier
Thatch
PP Thatch
Six-ended polypropylene thatch fiber sits at the base of the pile and mimics the natural grass thatch layer. It stabilizes infill, improves drainage, and cushions the transition between the playing surface and the backing — contributing to vertical deformation performance.
6-ended — 5,500 denier

Density is a performance variable, not a marketing metric.
Higher blade count means more consistent infill support across the entire playing surface. It means more uniform traction across the field — no soft spots, no hard zones. It means better skin comfort on contact, and a surface that behaves predictably at the edges of the field as well as the center. Our systems are built to higher pile density than industry standard because the performance data supports it, not because it is a differentiator we chose for its marketing value.
Long-Term Performance
Performance that holds over the full lifecycle.
A field that performs well in year one but degrades by year four is not a high-performance system. Every Act Global system is independently tested to verify that safety and performance characteristics are maintained under sustained, heavy use.
Lisport durability 200,000 cycles
Accelerated UV and artificial weathering tests validate long-term color stability and fiber performance across high-UV climates. Advanced UV stabilizers are built into the fiber, not applied as a coating.
UV & weathering resistance
Accelerated UV and artificial weathering tests validate long-term color stability and fiber performance across high-UV climates. Advanced UV stabilizers are built into the fiber, not applied as a coating.
Tensile strength Instron testing
Independent Instron tensile testing verifies breaking strength, elongation, and structural integrity under load, confirming that fiber and backing specifications hold to what is stated on the Technical Data Sheet.
Tuft bind & pile integrity
Tuft bind testing verifies that fibers remain anchored under sustained rotational and shear load — preventing premature fiber loss that degrades both performance and safety over time.
Material Innovation
63% bio-based polyurethane backing.
Act Global’s secondary backing uses polyurethane with 63% bio-based recycled content, reducing the system’s environmental footprint without compromising backing strength, tuft bind performance, or long-term durability.
An anti-microbial additive is also incorporated into the polyurethane, contributing to surface hygiene performance across high-use athletic environments.
Performance starts at manufacturing Every batch is traceable to specification. Melting point, breaking strength, tuft bind, elongation, dtex/denier, thickness, and width are all verified before product ships. Performance is not assumed, it is confirmed.
System Selection by Sport
