Dubai British School at Jumeirah Park is a multicultural school for students years 1-13 and is located on the southeastern edge of Dubai. The school has built a community of encouragement that allows students to thrive in all aspects of their education and growth. Extracurriculars at DBSJP are seen as an enrichment to a child’s education, making these activities a vital part of daily schedules for academic and social development. As summer months draw nearer, so too do the threat of annual water shortages and droughts and water restrictions. With temperatures rising it is important to be even more cognizant of your individual water usage.
The use of artificial grass helps save an estimated 3-6 million gallons of water each year. Each square foot of natural grass replaced with synthetic turf is estimated to save 55 gallons of water each year (2,200 liters saved per square meter). By minimizing the amount of water necessary to maintain athletic fields, home lawns, and commercial/municipal spaces, synthetic turf helps maximize land and resource usage. Each year the association hosts a vendor day to allow school representatives and companies to come together to discuss technological advancements and progress in every sector of education management.

This distinguishment is given by the federation to companies that not only specialize in building hockey fields but also further the development of hockey to grow and sustain the game. FIH Certified Field Builders are companies that have a consistent background in providing high-quality field systems and comprehensive maintenance advice.
“FIH Certified Manufacturers and Certified Field Builders are companies that have a proven ability to manufacture hockey turf products or construct fields to the standards considered appropriate and that also share in the FIH’s aims and objectives to develop hockey globally. Only companies that are able to demonstrate their commitment to hockey are awarded this prestigious recognition. The companies contribute to the development of hockey by working with the FIH to set the industry standards and build the fields needed to grow and sustain the game” -FIH.
Chadha Sports commits itself to providing globally preferred products and an immense depth of experience to bring the best field hockey surfaces to India. The team has constructed several FIH Global certified field throughout India, including the hockey surface for Government Boys Senior Secondary School in Ghumanhera featuring Act Global synthetic turf.
