The Al Islah community in Kuwait celebrated the opening of three community football fields. These elite level playing surfaces manufactured by Act Global in the Netherlands will expand the neighborhood’s opportunity to participate in both recreational and competitive play.
To maximize the durability and longevity of the fields, the client selected a same-stitch monofilament and SPC blended synthetic turf designed by Act Global and installed by Parla Sports in Kuwait. Offering excellent infill encapsulation, this Xtreme Turf system reduces the performance infill’s (SBR) exposure to direct sunlight thus creating a cooler playing surface for players and preserving a greener and more aesthetically pleasing surface. Designed for high-intensity use, the increased playing hours and longevity of the surfaces will increase revenue opportunities for the field owners, the high-performance characteristics of the field offer the players a top quality grass experience.

Our team is having an awesome time at the Massachusetts Secondary Schools Athletic Directors Association 2018 Conference. Act Global can’t wait for another day of productive conversations and collaborative thinking of how to create better athletic fields that are tailored to individual school’s needs.
Our CEO John Baize and regional manager Bill Lorenz are joining athletic directors from across the state to share ideas and experiences of how athletics fields can continue to be improved.
The Massachusetts Secondary Schools Athletic Directors Association is a coalition that has worked statewide for over 50 years to improve the quality of Massachuset’s athletic programs. MSSADA is a group of professionals from middle school and high school level athletic programs, and whose backgrounds allow them to advance the standards of administrative leadership and provide support to the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA).

The football turf field and adjacent wet system hockey field are the first of their kind in Arunachal Pradesh.
Act Global and partner Décor India have brought two revolutionary synthetic turf fields to the Sanjay Lhaden Sports Academy complex in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. Both the football field and hockey field systems offer elite-level playing surfaces that are engineered to the highest international performance and quality standards.
The remote location posed many complex challenges throughout construction from logistics to machinery. With strong local support from partner Décor India alongside Act Global’s wealth of experience gained whilst delivering multiple FIFA Goal projects in similarly remote and demanding regions, the team was able to complete a truly top class multi-field installation.

Itanagar, India is currently in the process of installing the city’s second Xtreme Turf field hockey pitch. Following the success of the city’s first synthetic turf pitch at Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy, Itanagar has selected the Act Global artificial grass for the second time.
The water-based hockey field featuring Xtreme Turf is durable through all weather conditions and allows athletes to get back on the field quicker after a storm- dramatically increasing the ability to play. This is an especially important feature for Itanagar’s humid, subtropic climate.
This field hockey pitch is being built in cooperation with our North East India partner, Decor India, with installation support provided by our North India partner Chadha Sports.
