The below picture is from the inaugural ceremony of an Xtreme Turf field in El Polvorin, Colombia, attended by the Director of INDER and the Mayor of Medellin, Anibal Gaviria. This neighborhood is known to have security issues and common delinquency, and was in great need of a community field.
We are proud to share a very impactful and sincere message from our installation partner and friend Pedro of PSport Systems:
“We have received only fantastic comments on the field. The community is very happy and so is the public entity. They have said that this is the example and beginning of projects to be done with the highest quality. The community deserves no less. This field promises a social impact and to make a change, especially on its young population.
We feel better every time about the service we provide and the impact and benefits our work brings to the community, to reduce the crime, and promote sports, health and recreation. And I say this honestly, this is a feeling that spread from seeing Act Global supporting so many organizations, with that initiative to “give more” to the people, to help society and more.”
